Are you passionate about education and making a positive impact on the lives of young students? St. Francis Indian School, also known as Sicangu Oyate Ho Inc., in St. Francis, SD, is seeking a dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging lesson plans for elementary students
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and school administration
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to support student learning and development
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification for elementary education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
• Experience in a classroom setting preferred
