Position Type:  Full-Time, Permanent 

Position Overview

Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join its growing primary care team in Elma, Washington. The APP will provide comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare services to individuals and families across all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and wellness promotion.

Responsibilities  

• Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages. 

• Conduct physical examinations, health assessments, and preventive screenings. 

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. 

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. 

• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines. 

• Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic test results. 

• Educate patients and families regarding disease prevention, wellness, and treatment plans. 

• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. 

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation. 

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals. 

Qualifications  

Required  

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. 

• Current Washington State licensure or eligibility for licensure. 

• Board Certification as: 

• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), OR 

• Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), OR 

• Physician Assistant (PA-C) 

• DEA certification or eligibility. 

• Current BLS certification. 

Preferred  

• Prior Family Medicine or Primary Care experience. 

• Experience working in rural or community healthcare settings. 

• Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
