Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified Surg TechLicensed for 457 beds. Level 3 Trauma Center. Stroke Center of Excellence. Bariatric Center of Excellence. Chest Pain Center. Surgical specialties include trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, robotics, general, HPB, bariatrics, urology, ENT, eyes, pain, and plastics. Average of 50 cases per day. Experience required to scrub in trauma, ortho trauma, ortho total joints, spine, hearts, MI vascular, GYN, GYN-Oncology, robotics, and general cases. Neuro experience is a hard stop. Must have recent and comprehensive experience with Globus, robotic/navigation, ALIFs, TLIFs, ACDFs, and lateral/anterior cases. Sterile technique is required. Support within the department includes service line clinical supervisors, charge nurses, educators, ORAs, unit secretaries, and tech engineers. EMR utilized is EPIC. Department-specific equipment consists of various types in multiples. No floating required. Weekend rotation every fourth weekend is expected. Weekend coverage may be on-call or scheduled depending on needs. Holiday expectations include working 75% of holidays. Request for time off requires manager approval. Shift times vary based on needs, including 7a-7p, 9a-9p, and 11a-11p. Schedule cycle is every 6 weeks. Scrub colors are provided.
