DATA ENTRY OPERATOR

Only for American region Specific Responsibilities Lead the Data Entry Operators and apply fundamental principles and practices, arithmetic, office procedures, filing practices, and essential computer skills. Accurately input data from Newborn Screening and Microbiology laboratory specimen forms into the laboratory information management systems and Specimen Gate; this demographic information forms the basis for laboratory tracking and reporting. Verify data entry and perform other miscellaneous clerical duties as required by the supervisor or designee. Assist in mailing laboratory specimen reports, including printing labels, stuffing envelopes, sorting reports, and delivering them to the mail room. Provide assistance to the Customer Services Unit as needed. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of administrative principles and practices; office procedures and practices. Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data related to administrative functions. Ability to prepare correspondence and administrative reports. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively. Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent.
