The APP provides care for critically ill premature and full‑term infants with an emphasis on family‑centered culturally diverse sensitive care. In collaboration with the APP, the daily responsibility is the assessment and management of patients in high and low acuity. The Advanced Practice Provider practices in collaboration with a multi‑disciplinary team to provide a continuum of primary, acute and/or subspecialty healthcare to their patients. They enhance the quality of care through education and clinical practice utilizing advanced practice, knowledge and research. Scheduling Requirements Full Time 40 hrs (8hr-12hr shifts: day/night/weekends/holidays) Essential Functions Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients. Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in collaboration with a physician. Develop and implement treatment plansin collaboration with the healthcare team. Perform procedures as necessary. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and healtheducation. Stay current with medical best practices, guidelines, and regulations. Engage in continuing education and professional development activities. Participate in research or quality improvement projects as directed or needed.
