About the Position

Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Location: Arkansas

Position Overview

• Advanced practice emergency medicine coverage in a 32 bed emergency department with an annual volume of approximately 45,000 visits (medium acuity).
• Level II Trauma Center.
• EMR: Epic.

Schedule

• 12 hour shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Prior Emergency Medicine experience required (documentation and case logs required).
• NP: Active, unrestricted Arkansas NP license; active Arkansas DEA/CDS with Arkansas address; prescriptive authority; AANP or ANCC board certification.
• PA: Active, unrestricted Arkansas PA license; active Arkansas DEA/CDS with Arkansas address; NCCPA board certification.
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required.
• Two years of case logs and two years of CME/CEU documentation required.
• Supervising physician assignment required.
• COVID, TB, Flu, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, and Tdap requirements apply.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
