What Youll Do:
As a Better Care Caregiver, you will provide personalized assistance that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Assisting clients with transferring and moving safely throughout their home
Performing light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, doing dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, and cleaning bathrooms
Preparing meals and snacks according to client instructions and dietary needs
Accompanying clients to medical appointments and errands
Assisting with bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
Providing medication reminders
Supporting prescribed range of motion exercises
Delivering compassionate dementia and memory care
Engaging clients in meaningful companionship activities
What Were Looking For:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted
Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
Ability to speak other languages is a plus!
Valid drivers license
Ability to pass a background check
CNA license, Home Health Aide certification, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred but not required — were willing to train the right person!
