What You'll Do

• Edit high-quality video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Amazon, Meta Ads, and other digital platforms.
• Produce engaging short-form and long-form videos optimized for audience engagement and conversions.
• Collaborate with our Marketing and Creative teams to develop innovative content concepts and campaigns.
• Transform raw footage using professional editing techniques including color correction, sound design, motion graphics, captions, transitions, and pacing.
• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats tailored for various platforms and audiences.
• Stay current on social media trends, emerging content styles, and best practices within the beauty industry.
• Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and digital content libraries.
• Ensure every piece of content reflects Luminess brand standards and visual identity.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.
  

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience .
• Experience within the beauty, skincare, cosmetics, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce industry is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video platforms.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or comparable editing software.
• Experience creating content designed to increase engagement, brand awareness, and sales.
• Excellent storytelling, editing, and visual composition skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to receive and implement creative feedback.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and pride in delivering high-quality work.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience producing viral or high-performing social media content.
• Knowledge of video production, lighting, camera operation, and content capture.
• Motion graphics and animation experience.
• Graphic design experience is a plus.
• Experience working with influencers, beauty brands, direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, or e-commerce companies.
