About the Employer

Welcome to Amador County Public Schools! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,000 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. We offer a variety of quality schools including two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools, and six elementary schools.

Position will be open for 5 days and then until filled.


ACOE ALLOWS YEAR FOR YEAR EXPERIENCE CREDIT WHEN PLACING EMPLOYEES ON THE SALARY SCHEDULE. Experience must be fulltime, contracted work & over 75% of school year to qualify (substitute work does not qualify).


We pay 100% of the induction costs for our new teachers.


Current clear TB Test and DOJ fingerprinting for the hired candidate will be required.
