Janitorial Position
Do you love the look of a clean space? We're looking for an experienced janitor to fill a position on our team. You'll keep our building impeccably clean, vacuum and mop floors, wash windows, empty trash, and perform other maintenance and cleaning duties as needed. Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
- Complete regularly scheduled maintenance duties like cleaning windows, shampooing carpets, supplying restrooms, changing light bulbs, and performing minor repairs
- Eliminate dangerous hazards and wipe up spills with squeegees or sponges
- Close and lock building doors for security once cleaning is complete
- Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs
Qualifications
- Driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite is required
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
- 1+ years of experience as a janitor, cleaning crew member, or similar position
- Excellent stamina and physical health
