# Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week with rotating weekends; 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• 40-bed medical-surgical unit in a 354-bed acute care facility
• Comprehensive team support including clinical nurse coordinator, unit secretaries, and PCTs on every shift
• Meditech documentation system with standard medical-surgical equipment
• Procedures include EKGs, glucose monitoring, and venipuncture
• Contract labor floats first to similar units when necessary
• Part of a healthcare system recognized for exceptional burn care, emergency services, and specialty institutes

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Royal blue scrubs required (top and bottom)
