Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening 12-hour shifts (1100-2330 or 1500-0330), includes weekends and holidays. Patient ratio 4:1. 20 hours of orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive Emergency Department with 40 exam rooms plus 19 vertical care spaces, serving nearly 45,000 patients annually
• Level II Trauma Center designation with Acute Stroke Ready Center and Pediatric Ready Emergency Department recognition
• Full-spectrum emergency care including adult and pediatric populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Epic charting system required; extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
• Rapid response team responsibilities providing emergent assessment throughout the facility
• Free onsite parking available

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
• Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience with both adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY), and TNCC certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date with strict passing criteria (80% minimum score, 100% identification of lethal rhythms)
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
