We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated Dental Hygienist to join our family-oriented team of more than 20 years. This full-time, part-time, or per diem position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Our beautiful office features a sunny log-cabin aesthetic, open-beam cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and views of local wildlife. We are looking for a team player who cares deeply about patient care and dental hygiene.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed.
• Document treatment plans and maintain accurate patient records according to clinic protocols.
• Assist with patient flow to support efficient office operations.
• Monitor vital signs and review patient health histories before treatment.
• Implement infection-control measures and follow aseptic techniques.
• Collaborate with dentists and team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Support other areas of the practice as needed.
• Stay current with dental hygiene practices through continuing education.

 

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
• Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry and oral health practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of patient care.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on the clinic schedule.
• Self-motivated, schedule-oriented, and passionate about dental hygiene.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a dental clinic or office setting.
• Proficiency in dental terminology.
• Familiarity with medical coding systems.

 

The position is available as full-time, part-time, or per diem, with flexible scheduling.
