Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Hartford, CT

As a travel RN in the Emergency Department, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to both ED and Inpatient Hold unit settings. This dual exposure will enhance your clinical expertise and leadership skills, while allowing you to expand your resume with invaluable experience. Each shift brings a new challenge, fostering growth and adaptability as you care for diverse patient populations.


Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts, 7:00pm - 7:30am
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Manage ED and Inpatient Hold RN ratios and acuity, maintaining high quality standards
• Conduct timely assessments, initiate treatment protocols, and provide patient and family education
• Communicate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Accurately document interventions and patient responses within electronic health records
• Respond efficiently to emergencies and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum one year of recent ED experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple patients and shifting priorities
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Adaptability in dynamic clinical environments
