General Anesthesiologist with OB Proficiency - Lakeland, Florida

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

An expanding practice in the Lakeland, Florida area is seeking a skilled and dedicated General Anesthesiologist with proficiency in obstetrics to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing anesthesia services across a diverse range of cases , including OB, regional, thoracic, vascular, neuro, trauma, and outpatient procedures.

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on obstetrics .
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period.
• Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain a favorable call schedule .
• Provide medical supervision as needed, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols .

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program .
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Proficiency in obstetric anesthesia techniques .
• Ability to obtain or currently hold a Florida medical license (not mandatory for application).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills .
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care .
