Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Elmira, New York. This role involves working in the surgical suite supporting various specialties, with flexible shift options of either eight or ten hours. The position requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and efficient perioperative care.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for 10-hour shifts as needed
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of OR nursing experience, competency in orthopedic surgery, Da Vinci robotic surgery, neurosurgery, general surgery, and gynecology
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with call responsibilities, proficiency in perioperative procedures, and certifications in perioperative nursing (such as CNOR)
• Additional Information: Open to candidates who are comfortable with weekday call responsibilities once every two weeks and weekend call rotations. Must be competent in multiple surgical specialties, demonstrate strong teamwork skills, and adhere to SOPs and safety protocols.
