Material Flow / Receiving AssociateLocation: Mills River, NC Pay: $20-$23/hour Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (SWING)We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Flow / Receiving Associate to support inbound material, receiving, and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for safely unloading trucks, inspecting incoming materials, completing receiving documentation, and maintaining accurate computer records. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, comfortable using computers, and able to work effectively in a team environment.Safely and efficiently unload trucks and inspect incoming materialsReceive, inspect, and document all inbound shipmentsVerify the quality and condition of raw materials, including laminate and raw stockEnter receiving information accurately into company systems and complete required paperworkMonitor and respond to email requests related to receiving and material flowSupport the Material Flow Lead with daily tasks and prioritiesFollow receiving procedures to ensure materials are processed efficiently and accuratelyCommunicate material issues or shortages and assist with filing material claims when neededLoad pallet waste and assist with unloading the packing line as neededBe trained to provide coverage in other material flow roles as requiredMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspaceSupport 5S, housekeeping, and continuous improvement activitiesUse downtime productively to address housekeeping needs and follow up on 5S audit findingsMaintain adequate operating supplies and report shortagesFollow all company safety procedures, standard work instructions, ISO requirements, and operating proceduresSupport communication and material flow between production areas and sitesAdapt to changing production priorities and assist with additional duties as assignedPrevious experience in manufacturing, warehousing, receiving, logistics, or a similar fast-paced environment preferredForklift experience is a plusComfortable using computers and digital systemsAbility to perform accurate data entry and navigate multiple computer programs and screensBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office and emailStrong reading, writing, and basic math skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organizationAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsWillingness to learn new equipment, processes, and responsibilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
