Company Description Gate City Sports Medicine is an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic specializing in the care of athletes and individuals returning to sports and active lifestyles. Role Description The Staff Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashua, NH. The therapist will evaluate patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver hands‑on and exercise-based interventions. Daily responsibilities include guiding patients through therapeutic exercise and functional training, providing patient education on injury prevention and self‑management, and documenting care in a timely, accurate manner. The role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, communicating progress updates, and making return-to-sport recommendations. The therapist will also participate in case conferences, contribute to clinic quality improvement, and support a positive, patient‑centered environment. Qualifications Strong foundation in Physical Therapy, including orthopedic and sports-focused evaluation and treatment skills. Experience in Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and progress evidence‑based therapy programs for return to sport and functional recovery. Commitment to high-quality Patient Care, including clear communication, patient education, and a compassionate, inclusive approach. Ability to provide Home Care guidance such as home exercise programs, self‑management strategies, and safe progression outside the clinic. Understanding of Medicine principles relevant to musculoskeletal and sports injuries, and ability to coordinate with physicians and other providers. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program. Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Physical Therapist in New Hampshire. Prior outpatient orthopedic and/or sports medicine experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply. Ability to manage a varied caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
