Assignment Overview Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Blended ICU/CVICU setting within a 171‑bed community hospital and regional referral center 16‑bed ICU unit serving adult and geriatric patients Common diagnoses and procedures include STEMI, NSTEMI, CABG, valve repair/replacement, CRRT, TCAR, TVAR, acute respiratory failure, A‑fib RVR, sepsis, stroke, trauma, COPD exacerbation, head injury, overdose, and ETOH withdrawal Patient ratio of 1:2 Baxter infusion pumps in use EHR system: Medhost Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Every other weekend required On‑call responsibilities required Float requirements include the Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) and ED holding for admitted patients, on an as‑needed basis Requirements Active AZ RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of ICU/CVICU experience required Prior travel nursing experience required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Joint Commission Accredited facility designated as a Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Candidates cannot be employed full‑time elsewhere during the assignment No block scheduling; 48‑hour scheduling may be considered Weekly orientation provided Pay & Benefits Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
