Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging English Language Arts lessons aligned with district and state standards
• Teach reading comprehension, writing, grammar, literature, and communication skills
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and support staff to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records, grades, and progress reports
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License required
• Endorsement or certification appropriate for teaching English Language Arts preferred
• Previous middle school teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
