Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as an Intervention Specialist (SPED) working with kindergarten and first-grade students. This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through the end of the school year, located near Dublin, OH. You’ll play a vital role in a resource room setting, guiding approximately six students each day toward academic and social success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, ideally K-1st grade
• Knowledge of instructional strategies for diverse learners
• Ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in a resource room for a small group of K-1st grade students
• Develop and deliver lessons adapted for various learning needs and abilities
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust instruction as needed
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers and support staff
• Create a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families, sharing updates and encouraging involvement
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
