Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support access awareness and respond to site needs with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity while putting people first.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities across a public transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe employee, visitor, and vendor activity in accordance with site protocols, reporting concerns and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Support general order at the location by assisting with directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy-related issues through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
