Overview Dental Assistant You can fully utilize your Dental Assistant skills working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists and Anesthesiologists Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act. Assists the doctor in procedures Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays Prophy teeth Instructs patients on oral hygiene Chart and treatment plan with doctor Sterilizes instruments Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment Take IO's Charting Qualifications Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or trainingOR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred BiLingual in Spanish, preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Dental Assistant Certification X-Ray Certification Coronal Polish Certification required Current BLS certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
