Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active South Carolina Occupational Therapist license is required
• Strong preference for candidates with previous school-based OT experience
• Solid understanding of pediatric occupational therapy, assessment, and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently and prioritize caseload
• Dedication to fostering students’ functional independence within educational settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted, evidence-based occupational therapy services to students according to IEP specifications
• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment goals to support participation in classroom activities
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement strategies for student achievement
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and advocating for student needs
• Adapt interventions and recommendations based on student progress and changing needs
