Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced OTA Test Engineer with strong experience in backend testing, test automation, API testing, and OTA update validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test cases for OTA update delivery systems.
- Validate backend services for firmware and software distribution.
- Test progressive/staged deployments, rollback, and recovery processes.
- Perform regression, functional, load, stress, and failure-scenario testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Test REST APIs and database integrity using SQL/NoSQL.
- Support CI/CD pipeline improvements and test automation.
- Track defects, document test results, and work closely with development, DevOps, and product teams.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of backend testing/QA experience.
- Strong understanding of OTA updates and firmware distribution.
- Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- REST APIs and protocols.
- SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Test automation using tools such as Postman, pytest, JMeter, or LoadRunner.
Preferred Skills:
- Docker/Kubernetes.
- Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- IoT, device management, automotive, or connected-vehicle experience.
- Network protocols and troubleshooting.
