Provider Credentialing Coordinator

About the Role We are seeking a detailoriented Credentialing Specialist to support provider onboarding and compliance. You'll review provider credentials, verify licensure, maintain documentation, and ensure all information meets regulatory and organizational standards.
What You'll Do

* Complete credentialing and recredentialing processes in line with policies and procedures.
* Send and track provider forms, ensuring timely completion.
* Review documentation, research discrepancies, and verify accuracy.
* Monitor licensing boards and regulatory reporting sites for uptodate provider information.
* Prepare concise summaries and maintain compliant provider files.
* Educate providers on required forms and submissions.
* Prepare reports and templates using Word and Excel.
* Enter and update provider data across multiple systems.
* Respond to provider inquiries with professionalism and strong customer service.
What You'll Bring

* 1-2 years of credentialing experience, or 2-3 years of insurance verification/benefits experience/administrative healthcare experience.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to multitask, problemsolve, and maintain accuracy and quality.
* Professionalism and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

Candidates must complete:

* A basic Word assessment (70% or higher required)
* A basic Excel assessment (70% or higher required)
*Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, CA.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
