Location: Washington, DC

Schedule: Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week

Position Overview

We are partnering with an organization seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst to support and enhance its HR technology, reporting, and people analytics capabilities. This role will play an important part in improving HR systems, developing actionable workforce insights, streamlining processes, and strengthening data integrity across HR operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong HRIS expertise with analytical and project management skills, along with the ability to collaborate across departments and translate business needs into effective technology and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance HR dashboards, recurring reports, workforce metrics, and analytics to support business decisions.
• Lead and support HR technology initiatives, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, implementation, change management, and post-launch evaluation.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve reporting accuracy, and increase the efficiency and scalability of HR operations.
• Partner with HR, IT, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to assess business needs and implement effective HRIS solutions.
• Establish and maintain data governance practices, system controls, audit processes, and reporting standards to ensure data accuracy, security, and integrity.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Support the ongoing optimization of HR technology platforms, data flows, and related operational processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on HR systems, reporting, analytics, and technology-related initiatives.
• Coordinate with external vendors on HR software evaluations, implementations, renewals, and ongoing system improvements.
• Develop short- and long-term recommendations for enhancing HR technology, reporting capabilities, and overall operational effectiveness.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining confidentiality and delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in HRIS, people analytics, HR technology, HR operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading HRIS, HCM, ATS, or other HR technology implementations.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, metrics, and automated reporting solutions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, SQL, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Broad understanding of HR functions, including HR operations, compensation, benefits, payroll, and related compliance requirements.
• Experience working with confidential employee data, system controls, data governance, and quality assurance.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate complex data and business requirements into practical recommendations and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADP, particularly its reporting and process management functionality.
• Experience with other HRIS platforms such as Workday, iCIMS, or comparable systems.
• Seven or more years of experience in people analytics or HR technology.
• Familiarity with analytical tools such as Python, R, or SPSS.
• Experience analyzing HR data across areas such as recruitment, employee engagement, retention, and workforce development.

Additional Details

• Hybrid schedule with approximately 2–3 days onsite per week in Washington, DC.
• Initial six-month contract with the potential for a longer-term opportunity.
• ADP experience is preferred, but candidates with strong HRIS experience on other platforms will be considered.
