- 7 days/week hospital coverage -- call schedule 7 am - 7 am
- ER call coverage required
- 20 patients per physician per day -- 2 surgeries per day
- 100% hospital-based caseload -- no office or clinic visits
- 40% trauma cases -- adult and pediatric neurosurgery
- General neurosurgery, spinal surgery, VP shunt, tumor cases required
- ICP monitor placement and external traction application required
- Cerebrovascular open procedures and aneurysm clipping preferred
