The Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) San Diego is looking for energetic and committed volunteers to manage the front desk at our office located on Naval Base San Diego. Our Client Services Specialists are responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support our active duty and retired military families. Responsibilities Manage incoming phone calls and answer general questions about Society services Coordinate appointments and determine client eligibility for assistance Check clients in for appointments and ensure appropriate supporting documentation (varies by request) Work with Client Coordinator to assess urgency of requests and assign emergency cases Qualifications Commit to the team for a minimum of 6 months Complete NMCRS Orientation and Training Basic computer skills Be able to work collaboratively with a variety of personalities, including staff, clients and fellow volunteers Benefits Childcare and mileage reimbursement available Build your resume and make professional connections No prior experience required, in house training provided Give back to the local military community!
