Associate Territory Manager - MedTech (Winston Salem, Greensboro, NC)

This remote sales career is for those residing in the Winston Salem / Greensboro, NC metro area who are passionate about cutting‑edge medical technologies. A Day in the Life As an Associate Territory Manager (ATM) you’ll work closely with CVRx Territory Managers, developing and executing sales strategies to meet patient implant and revenue goals. You will master complex physiology, support the sales process, present devices to cardiologists and other specialists, provide hands‑on support during implant procedures, analyze sales data, and represent CVRx at industry events. Key Duties and Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies to meet patient implant and revenue goals, driving the success and adoption of CVRx technologies. Build and nurture relationships with healthcare clients, including hospitals and clinics. Master the complex physiological and technical principles behind CVRx therapies to communicate their benefits. Support the sales process by delivering product demonstrations and training healthcare professionals on implantable devices. Present CVRx devices to cardiologists, hypertension specialists, and surgeons, ensuring they understand clinical advantages and applications. Provide hands‑on support during implant procedures, follow‑ups, and troubleshooting. Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities through upselling and cross‑selling additional products. Represent CVRx at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events. Address client feedback and resolve issues promptly. Contribute to achieving and surpassing monthly and quarterly sales targets. Execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue objectives. Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to drive consistent sales growth. Stay updated on market trends and competitive activities. Provide input on advertising, promotional materials, and sales collateral. Collaborate with sales leaders to identify unique customer needs and uncover new sales opportunities. Collaborate with R&D teams to provide customer feedback on existing products, enhancements, and future innovations. Support contract negotiations to solidify partnerships and drive business success. Required Education, Training and Job Experience BS or university degree in health sciences or engineering, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of disease states affecting the heart; specific heart‑failure experience preferred. Well‑developed interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships with key customer groups and CVRx staff. Ability to master concepts of medical and surgical nature and active implantable medical device technology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; persuasive communication and presentation abilities. Technical skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce or other CRM. Natural ability to influence, self‑confident, resilient, and problem‑solving. Independent, self‑motivated, entrepreneurial spirit. Valid state driver’s license without limitations and reliable personal transportation. Valid identification for domestic air travel in the U.S. Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory at least 4 days per week. Preferred Education, Training and Job Experience Advanced degree preferred; specific heart‑failure experience preferred. Healthcare and related clinical experience preferred. Solid understanding of neuromodulation devices and how they work. Know‑how of the device market, competitors, and strategies relative to CVRx devices. Experience navigating medical device insurance approvals / pre‑approvals process. Experience interacting with R&D to represent customer perspective for product enhancements. Working Conditions Remote‑based; candidate must live within Winston Salem / Greensboro metro area. Interfacing with multiple internal departments, physicians, investigators, and customers. Must be able to lift up to 10 lb. Travel 60‑75 % or more; some overnight stays may be required. May be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 and other diseases.
