Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Interventional Radiology/Cardiology RN

Schedule: Day 5x8's 0630-1500 or 0900-1730, with call.

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the State of Oregon
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• At least one year of experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology
• Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred (e.g., RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale), IV certification

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing interventional procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization.
• Administer medications and maintain sterile technique while assisting with procedures.
• Act as patient advocate, anticipating needs and responding rapidly to complications.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and high-quality patient care.
• Monitor patients during moderate sedation and document hemodynamic and procedural data accurately.
• Assist in preparing and organizing sterile instruments and supplies for procedures.
