The Digital Communications Specialist will be a high-visibility driver of Bonnie Plants’ brand presence, both externally and internally. This role combines creative content capture and execution with data-driven analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and agency management to elevate the Bonnie Plants brand across all digital touchpoints. This specialist will oversee social media channels, infl uencer marketing, public relations support, and digital analytics platforms—including our integrated suite in Meltwater—to build brand awareness, foster engagement, and drive strategic communication initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
● Social Media Execution & Analytics: Manage day-to-day social media planning, publishing, and performance reporting across all major brand channels.
● Digital Platform Management: Serve as the administrator and subject matter expert for Meltwater (digital communication platform) and media tools (including social publishing, infl uencer/ambassador tracking, PR monitoring, social listening, and trend forecasting).
● Content Capture & Creation: Capture and produce high-quality, engaging digital content (images, short-form video, stories) to support brand storytelling and campaigns.
● Influencer & Ambassador Program Management: Oversee the execution of infl uencer and brand ambassador programs, building campaign briefs, tracking performance, and campaign ROI.
● Agency Management: Coordinate with external digital, media, and infl uencer agencies to align on execution, campaign deliverables, and brand goals.
● Internal Communications: Support internal communication strategies to align, inform, and engage employees across the organization.
● Partnership & Community Management: Support local brand partnerships (e.g., Auburn University, Auburn Athletics) and philanthropy support initiatives.
● PR & Social Listening Support: Monitor brand sentiment, industry trends, and media mentions to inform real-time engagement and support public relations initiatives.
Required Skills and Abilities:
● Media & Analytics Tool Expertise: Knowledge of social listening, PR analytics, social publishing, and infl uencer tracking platforms (e.g., Meltwater or similar enterprise social management suites).
● Social & Digital Savvy: Proven track record of executing social media strategy, capturing creative digital content, and analyzing platform performance.
● Project & Agency Management: Organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in
coordinating with external agencies and managing vendor timelines.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Able to build relationships and influence across
teams, internal partners, and external stakeholders.
● Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills
suitable for both internal and external audiences.
● Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using social listening, data, and
trend forecasting to derive insights and inform content strategies.
● Proactive & Adaptable: Positive attitude, creative problem-solver, and able to
thrive in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
● Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in digital communications, social
media execution, or influencer marketing.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations,
Digital Media, or a related discipline.
