The Fulton County Behavioral Health Network (FCBHN) Director provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for behavioral health services delivered throughout Fulton County. The Director is responsible for ensuring high-quality, accessible, and compliant behavioral health services while supporting staff, managing Fulton County and other stakeholder relationships, overseeing program operations, and advancing revenue and funding opportunities.
This position works collaboratively with clinical, operational, and administrative leadership to ensure effective service delivery, regulatory compliance, continuous quality improvement, and positive outcomes for clients, schools, community partners, and funders. The Director serves as a key liaison with Fulton County and other stakeholders while promoting the mission, vision, and values of CHRIS 180. This position is responsible for the successful implementation of two counseling centers (one in Adamsville and one in Alpharetta) and two community-based programs (Fulton County Clubhouse and Youth Resiliency Program, aimed at supporting at-risk teens in Fulton County).
Leadership & Staff Supervision
- Provide clinical and programmatic supervision, support, coaching, and professional development to program staff.
- Screen, interview, hire, onboard, train, and supervise program staff.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
- Participate in employee evaluations and performance management processes.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels across program locations and service areas.
- Ensure maximum utilization of staff resources by actively assigning clients, managing appointments and building and maintaining active caseloads.
- Collaborate with Clinical Supervisors, Operations Managers, and other leaders to provide consistent support and guidance to staff.
- Provide clinical supervision to assigned staff depending on the licensure track.
- Foster positive working relationships among staff and stakeholders.
Program Management & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations for CHRIS 180’s suite of Fulton County Behavioral Health Network including two counseling centers, Fulton County Clubhouse, and Youth Resiliency Program.
- Ensure program effectiveness, service quality, and adherence to organizational, county, and regulatory standards.
- Assist with the development, review, and revision of program policies and procedures.
- Develop, monitor and achieve program performance metrics, KPI’s and outcomes.
- Develop and manage program level budgets with input from team and finance department.
- Develop, collect, analyze, and maintain programmatic data for reporting purposes.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports as required.
- Coordinate and attend meetings with community partners, schools, county representatives, and other stakeholders.
Revenue Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and support revenue development opportunities, including grants, contracts, fees for service and other funding initiatives.
- Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with Fulton County and other funding partners and stakeholders.
- Work with the clinical and operations teams to meet productivity and billing targets.
- Support contract management and fulfill funding requirements.
- Represent the organization in community and stakeholder meetings.
- Promote awareness of behavioral health and case management services and strengthen community partnerships.
- In partnership with the marketing team, lead marketing, outreach, and awareness efforts to ensure client and productivity targets are achieved.
Clinical Quality & Compliance
- Collaborate with Clinical leadership and the compliance team to identify clinical quality trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support clinical quality assurance and program quality improvement activities and performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist with diagnostic verifications, behavioral health assessments, and direct clinical support when needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of behavioral health regulations, best practices, and organizational policies.
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards, mandated reporting requirements, and confidentiality regulations.
Audit, Accreditation, & Regulatory Compliance
- Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, state, federal, and organizational requirements.
- Manage reporting requirements for funders and accrediting organizations, including CARF and The Joint Commission (JCAHO).
- Maintain documentation and monitoring systems necessary for accreditation and compliance activities.
- Work with leadership teams to address audit findings and implement corrective action plans.
Customer Service & Stakeholder Engagement
- Promote a positive image of CHRIS 180 and its programs.
- Respond promptly and professionally to requests from clients, staff, schools, community partners, and funders.
- Resolve operational issues and barriers in a timely manner.
- Support a culture of emotional and physical safety for clients, staff, and stakeholders.
- Promote internal and external collaboration.
Professional Development
- Attend required meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Maintain required certifications, licenses, and credentials.
- Remain informed of industry trends, best practices, and policy changes.
- Submit required documentation to Human Resources and comply with organizational policies.

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in behavioral health, mental health, or human services.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and community-based programs.
- Experience with grant-funded programs, contracts, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with schools, counties, community organizations, or public-sector partners preferred.
- Experience with accreditation and regulatory compliance processes, including CARF and/or The Joint Commission preferred.
Education, Licensure, & Certification
- Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related behavioral health field required.
- Active Georgia clinical licensure required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Supervisor certification (active or near-term pending).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

- Proficiency with electronic health records, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Schedule
Typically works Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8:30am - 8:00pm. Schedules are flexible based on need and site assignment. Therapists are typically required to work at least two evenings per week to accommodate children and adolescent appointments. Schedules may vary based on site assignment/operating hours. Flexibility is a requirement and schedules are apt to change (with notice) based on clinic needs, grants, projects, or site assignments. Occasional weekend events are a requirement of the position.
