The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales performance. This role involves managing staff, maintaining store standards, and contributing to a positive shopping environment. The Assistant Store Manager plays a key part in team leadership and operational excellence within the store.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing store staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Support sales goals by implementing promotional strategies and upselling techniques.
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
- Manage inventory and stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Support compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and team performance as needed.
- Step in for the Store Manager during absences and perform related managerial duties.
