Job Title: Pre-Op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pre-Op, Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-Hour Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current licensure with the Board of Registered Nursing in California Certifications: Current BLS and EPIC EMR experience Must-Have: - Current licensure with the Board of Registered Nursing - Current BLS certification - EPIC EMR experience Description: This is a position focused on both Pre-Op and Post-Op care for surgery patients. Occasional Pre-Op care for gastrointestinal patients is also required. Scrubs will be provided for this position. This role primarily offers weekend coverage. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience. Desired qualifications include certification as a Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) and/or Certified Ambulatory Peri-Anesthesia Nurse (CAPA). Successful completion of prior travel assignments is also preferred. Med/Surg and Critical Care RNs may be required to float as needed. Holiday coverage will be required.
