The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing HVAC materials and equipment. This role ensures the warehouse is organized, inventory is accurate, and all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and unload shipments of HVAC equipment and materials. Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain detailed records. Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring easy accessibility. Manage inventory levels and conduct regular physical inventory counts. Prepare and package orders for shipment or delivery to job sites. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Monitor warehouse supplies and place orders as needed. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist HVAC technicians with material and equipment needs. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment, preferably in the HVAC industry. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred). Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (75lbs). Good communication and teamwork skills. Physical Demands Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the shift. May be required to bend, climb (stairs/ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run. May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time. May be required to maneuver up to 25lb. by lifting, carrying or pushing. Pay Transparency The starting hourly rate for this opportunity ranges from $19-$20 hr. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
