I'm currently supporting a leading fresh food manufacturer supplying major national retailers, who are looking for a Maintenance / Mechanical Engineer to join their site engineering team. Why join? £51,092 per annum £200 annual tool allowance 24 days' holiday 12-hour rotating shift pattern Average 42 hours per week Structured time off built into the rota Well-established food manufacturing business What you'll be doing Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production and packing lines Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime Supporting PPM schedules and equipment reliability Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Working within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment to strict hygiene and safety standards Liaising with production teams to keep lines running efficiently What you’ll bring A recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent Proven maintenance experience within an FMCG, food or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience working with production machinery Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift pattern covering days and nights A proactive, hands-on and safety-first mindset #J-18808-Ljbffr Morepeople 01780
