Description: The department has 5 scanners/rooms. Clinicians may need to float to outpatient areas if necessary. The facility performs a wide range of imaging and studies. The average number of scans/studies performed daily is approximately 25. The department utilizes Epic as its Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Fuji Synapse PACS. The work environment involves collaboration with a radiology supervisor or lead technologist. There are no Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) in this department. A radiologist is available in-house for consultations. Starting IVs is a requirement for this position. Weekend and holiday work is mandatory. There are no self-scheduling or block scheduling options available. Scrubs are required to be in black color. Department-specific orientation will be provided. In case of an extreme need, clinicians may be asked to float within designated zones. The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. The care setting is acute trauma level 1.
