Position Highlights

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab tests
• Work in close partnership with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Offer intraoperative assistance such as preparing surgical environments, ensuring patients are optimally positioned, and efficiently handing off instruments during operations
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care responsibilities, to include medication administration, wound management, patient education, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly regarded

Certifications Required

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure or eligibility as a Physician Assistant is necessary
