Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.Position SummaryWork as part of the Pharmacy and Front Store Team to ensure that each customer has a positive shopping experience at CVS and to ensure customer satisfaction by serving each customer according to our company Values.Required QualificationsMust be at least 16 years of ageLicensure requirements vary by state, click here to learn more.Must have the ability to perform the following tasks: Customer ServiceGreet each customer in a courteous and professional mannerAssist all pharmacy and front store customers with their questions and concernsRequest additional help when needed to maximize customer satisfactionMaintain customer/patient confidentiality according to HIPAA and company standardsAnswer telephone with appropriate greeting OperationsComply with all federal and state laws, rules and regulationsComply with CVS policy and procedures at all timesAdhere to CVS workflow and ensure quality assurance standards are maintained at all timesMaintain prescription prioritization throughout prescription processingProcess prescriptionsIncluding translation of SIG codes, product selection, counting and measuring drugs, capping and uncapping vials and bottlesLabeling of prescriptionsResolve Third Party rejections and complete any manual claim formsPerform all register transactions, in adherence of CVS policy and procedures; This includes cash, check and charge transactionsBag merchandise upon completion of salePerform all prescription pick-up procedures, in adherence of CVS policy and procedures; Complete Prescription Pick-Up Log, validate customer address, Make the Offer to Counsel and direct customer to Pharmacist or Intern (if applicable)Communicate with all healthcare professionals when permissible and according to state lawRetrieve and file prescriptions appropriately according to State and Federal LawParticipate in all required store operational meetingsMaintain a clean, organized and professional pharmacy department, according to CVS standardsAccess, input and retrieve information to/from the computerStand for extended periods of timeAssist front store operations when needed Inventory ManagementMaintain in-stock by ensuring all inventory management policies and procedures are followedUtilize appropriate report(s) to maintain replenishmentPull outdated, damaged and recalled merchandise and prepare for returnAssist with putting away drug orders (except CIIs) as permitted by lawPreferred QualificationsRequired Qualifications continued: Front Store ActivitiesOperate a cash register including cash transactions, checks, chargesFollow company policies and procedures regarding cash register performanceRequest additional help when needed to increase customer satisfactionGreet each customer using the eye's, hi's and help at all times and assist customers with their questions, problems and complaintsPrice merchandise utilizing price gunsStore cleanliness: break area and rest rooms; vacuum; dust/face; clean windows; rubbish removal; exterior maintenance; sweepingStock shelvesComplete price changes: document counts, utilize price gunsAnswer the telephone using the appropriate greetingProcess photofinishing ordersMaintain check-out area: fill register supplies, bags; wipe counter tops;Issue rainchecks when requestedReact to potential shoplifters following company guidelinesMaintain customer/patient confidentialityMaintain card department: order, stock, inventory, signingMaintain cosmetic department/units: clean, stock, set displays, sign, prepare returns (UPP system)Reset departments/end caps following POGsDisplay and sign weekly, promotional and seasonal merchandisePrepare damages: document counts and item numbers, seal traysIn-store signing, including: shelves, displays, dump baskets, windows, ceilingAssist Pharmacy personnel when neededComplete minor in-store repairs i.e., carriage poles, change light bulbsWork out reserve stockAssist customers with large purchases (taking out to vehicle)Unload and load trays/cases - 35 pound maximum to a height of 4 feetMove trays/cases from one location to another Human ResourcesSupport scheduling activities according to the needs of the business and workflow modelComplete all required training programsCommunicate with field management and corporate any required reportingEducationHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.Anticipated Weekly Hours20Time TypePart timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$19.55 - $19.55This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
