Internal Medicine Health & Science System Specialist - Erie, PA

Pfizer seeks a Primary Care Health & Science System Specialist to drive sales performance of its primary care portfolio through strategic engagement with healthcare providers and health systems in Erie and Pittsburgh. The role combines field-based sales, disease-state education, and cross-functional collaboration to support appropriate medication use and patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and sales performance through in-person and virtual interactions with primary care accounts
• Build compliant relationships with healthcare providers, advanced practice providers, and care team members within assigned health systems
• Deliver approved promotional and disease-state education to support appropriate product use
• Identify opportunities and support care pathways by leveraging product and market knowledge
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address customer needs, remove access barriers, and advance business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years with associate's, 10+ years with high school diploma)
• Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience
• Valid US driver's license with clean driving record; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
• Ability to reside within workable distance of assigned territory and travel to all account locations
• Strategic selling, account management, and territory planning capabilities
• Business acumen including data analysis, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
• Ability to engage and influence customers in matrix environment with strong collaboration

Compensation: $108,600 - $250,700 annual base salary
