About Peters Bandura
Peters Bandura is a CPA firm serving small businesses and individuals across Alabama. We're adding a tax-focused accountant to the team — someone who wants real client relationships and real responsibility rather than being the fourth set of eyes on a return they never see whole.
This position is based in our Daphne office. We also have an office in Birmingham, and candidates interested in that location are welcome to apply.
What you'd do
- Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns, federal and Alabama
- Tax planning and projections for small business owners
- QuickBooks Desktop and Online accounting work
- Assist with payroll and payroll tax processes
- Use technology to improve efficiency and service quality
What we're looking for
- Four-year accounting degree
- Recent public accounting experience
- CPA, CPA candidate, or a strong accountant planning to sit for the exam
- Solid tax preparation skills; financial statement and compilation experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Proficiency in QuickBooks; UltraTax knowledge is a plus
- Strong technology skills
