Territory Manager - Midwest

SCIEX, a Danaher company, seeks a Territory Manager to drive mass spectrometry sales across Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and part of Illinois. The role involves meeting sales targets, managing customer accounts, demonstrating analytical workflow expertise, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. A bachelor's degree in life sciences and 3+ years of direct scientific equipment sales experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets with accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
- Serve as subject matter expert on mass spectrometry workflows and competitive landscape
- Manage sales pipeline using CRM tools and account planning to drive business results
- Explain technical product specifications and communicate value propositions to customer needs
- Collaborate across applications support, field service, and product management functions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
- 3 years sales experience preferred, direct scientific capital equipment sales highly desired
- Deep knowledge of LC/MS/MS analytical workflows and chromatography
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally
Compensation: $100,000-$110,000 base; $180,000-$190,000 total target compensation including sales incentive
