About the Role:

The Machine Operator role is critical in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production machinery within a durable goods manufacturing environment. The primary objective is to operate, monitor, and maintain various machines such as press machines, mold machines, and assembly line equipment to produce high-quality products that meet company standards. This position requires a keen attention to detail to perform tasks such as deburring and precise measurements using tools like micrometers, ensuring product accuracy and consistency. The operator will also be responsible for safely handling materials using overhead cranes and clamp trucks, contributing to a smooth production flow. Ultimately, the role supports the manufacturing process by minimizing downtime, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols to meet production targets in Franklin, NH.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating press machines and assembly line equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with using precision measuring tools such as micrometers.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and clamp trucks.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification in machine operation or manufacturing technology.
• Experience with mold machines and deburring processes.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Previous experience in durable goods manufacturing.
• Forklift certification or additional material handling training.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor press machines, mold machines, and other production machinery to ensure continuous and efficient production.
• Perform assembly line tasks including deburring and quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers.
• Safely handle materials and components using overhead cranes and clamp trucks to facilitate production flow.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery to prevent breakdowns and maintain optimal performance.
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
