About the role Monovo is hiring a Clinic Coordinator to lead in-clinic patient onboarding and support the day-to-day coordination of Monovo programs within a partner clinic. This role is primarily focused on identifying eligible patients, educating them about available programs, completing enrollment, supporting device and application setup, and helping patients successfully begin their care journey with Monovo. In addition to patient onboarding, the Clinic Coordinator will provide support for revenue cycle management, medical coding, billing workflows, and documentation review. You will work closely with patients, providers, clinic staff, billing, RCM, operations, and clinical teams to ensure patients are onboarded smoothly and that the documentation and billing processes connected to their care are accurate and complete. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, is comfortable operating in a clinical environment, and can balance patient‑facing responsibilities with detailed administrative, coding, and billing support. What you'll do Patient Onboarding and Clinic Coordination Identify patients who may qualify for Monovo programs based on established screening criteria, insurance eligibility, and provider guidance. Introduce eligible patients to Monovo services and clearly explain the purpose, benefits, expectations, and next steps of program participation. Guide patients through the enrollment and onboarding process within Monovo systems and the clinic EHR. Obtain and document required patient information, consent, insurance details, and program enrollment documentation. Educate patients on devices, mobile applications, monitoring expectations, and how to communicate with their Monovo care team. Assist patients with basic device and application setup and troubleshoot common onboarding or technical issues. Confirm that patients understand the program and are prepared to participate successfully before completing onboarding. Support providers and clinic staff with patient identification, enrollment conversations, workflow coordination, and patient readiness. Follow up with patients to resolve missing information, onboarding barriers, technology concerns, or incomplete enrollment steps. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation related to patient eligibility, enrollment, onboarding, and clinic coordination activities. Communicate patient updates, barriers, documentation needs, and workflow progress to providers, clinical teams, billing, RCM, and operations. Serve as an accessible in‑clinic resource for questions related to Monovo programs, patient onboarding, and enrollment workflows. Support a positive patient experience through clear communication, empathy, organization, and responsive follow‑through. Identify opportunities to improve patient enrollment, onboarding, clinic workflows, and overall program participation. RCM, Coding, and Billing Support Review medical records and patient documentation to support accurate coding, billing, and claim‑related workflows. Apply or verify appropriate ICD‑10, CPT, and HCPCS codes when required. Confirm that documentation supports coding accuracy, medical necessity, payer requirements, and compliant claim submission. Identify missing documentation, coding discrepancies, claim issues, or billing workflow gaps and coordinate with the appropriate teams to resolve them. Support claim readiness, claim corrections, billing follow‑up, and denial‑resolution activities as assigned. Coordinate with billing, RCM, providers, clinic staff, and operations to keep billing‑related workflows moving efficiently. Maintain accurate and timely information within the clinic EHR, billing platforms, Monovo systems, and internal documentation tools. Help improve documentation, coding, billing, and enrollment workflows through consistent review and attention to detail. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, payer‑specific requirements, coding guidelines, and internal documentation standards. Qualifications Experience working directly with patients in a healthcare, clinic, care coordination, patient access, or medical office environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain healthcare programs, technology, and next steps in a clear and patient‑friendly manner. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow established workflows. Ability to manage multiple patient onboarding activities while maintaining accurate and timely documentation. Comfort communicating with patients, providers, clinic staff, billing teams, and cross‑functional internal teams. Familiarity with medical documentation, insurance information, patient eligibility, billing, coding, or revenue cycle workflows. Working knowledge of CPT, ICD‑10, and HCPCS coding systems. Proficiency with EHR systems, data‑entry tools, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to learn new systems and adapt to evolving clinical and operational processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience with patient enrollment, patient onboarding, clinic coordination, patient access, or care program implementation. Experience supporting patients with medical devices, mobile applications, telehealth tools, or virtual care programs. Experience in a blended role involving patient onboarding, medical coding, billing support, documentation review, or RCM workflows. Experience using Athenahealth or a similar EHR and billing platform. Experience supporting claim corrections, denial follow‑up, payer requirements, or medical documentation review. Familiarity with remote patient monitoring, chronic care management, preventive care, or virtual clinical programs. 1 year of medical coding, billing, or revenue cycle certification or training. Requirements Legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to work in clinic Monday through Friday during business hours. Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information at all times. Ability to spend extended periods of time reviewing records, documentation, coding information, and billing‑related details on a computer. Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new systems, including EHR platforms, billing tools, patient enrollment systems, device/app workflows, spreadsheets, and internal documentation platforms. Ability to balance focused RCM/coding work with patient‑facing onboarding and clinic workflow support. Dependable attendance, strong follow‑through, and consistent communication with internal teams.
