Pritchard Companies is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Sales Manager to oversee sales operations across our two Forest City dealership locations.

This role serves as the primary sales leader responsible for driving sales performance, developing team members, ensuring process consistency, and creating an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader who can coach teams, drive accountability, and help the dealerships achieve growth objectives.

What You'll Do

Sales Leadership

• Lead and oversee sales operations across two dealership locations
• Establish sales objectives and performance expectations
• Monitor and improve sales performance through coaching and accountability
• Support deal structuring and customer negotiations when needed
• Drive achievement of dealership sales goals

Team Development

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop Sales Consultants
• Conduct performance reviews and one-on-one coaching sessions
• Build a high-performing, customer-focused sales culture
• Support succession planning and employee development

Customer Experience

• Ensure a best-in-class customer experience throughout the sales process
• Address escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Promote relationship-building and long-term customer loyalty

Inventory & Operations

• Partner with dealership leadership on inventory strategy and sales initiatives
• Monitor inventory performance and aging
• Support pricing, merchandising, and promotional efforts
• Ensure sales processes are followed consistently across both locations

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with Finance & Insurance, Service, and dealership leadership
• Communicate sales performance, opportunities, and challenges
• Participate in leadership planning and operational meetings

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automotive sales experience
• Minimum 3 years of sales leadership or management experience
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-location leadership experience
• Automotive retail management experience
• Experience with CRM and dealership management systems
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
