The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley is seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team! As a DON, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing operations of our facility, including resident care, regulatory compliance, staffing, and clinical services. Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on best clinical practices to the clinical leadership team
• Collaborate with regional and local clinical staff to establish quarterly and annual performance improvement goals and write quarterly QAPI plans
• Support and facilitate company values, practice standards, and ethics policies and procedures
• Conduct routine mock surveys and survey preparation to ensure compliance
• Act as mentor and coach for ADON and Unit Managers to ensure success at the facility
• Manage costs, ensure compliance with policies/procedures, and uphold State/Federal regulations and current standards of practice

Requirements:

• Current New York State RN license required
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in long-term care nursing management role
• Knowledge and understanding of regulatory processes
• Ability to educate and train staff on State and Federal regulations
• Complete knowledge and understanding of the functions of a long-term care facility
• Excellent Communication Skills required
• Evidence of advanced leadership skills and supervision
• Microsoft Office proficiency

• Premium compensation package based on experience: $130,000 - $160,000 ANNUALLY
