Minimum Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.

• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy.

• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required by Idaho.

• 2 years’ experience as a radiation therapist.

• Experience operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment.

• Experience verifying treatment plans and dosage with oncology teams and documenting treatments accurately.

• Ability to position patients and ensure proper immobilization during treatment.

• Ability to monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after therapy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient radiation oncology settings.

• Familiarity with common treatment planning systems and immobilization devices.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1700.
• Workweek: Monday through Friday, approximately 36-40 hours per week.
• No call and no holidays required as part of schedule.
• High possibility to extend after initial assignment.

Impacting Patient Care

Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment to deliver prescribed treatments. Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization during therapy. Verify treatment plans and dosage in coordination with the oncology team. Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after treatments and maintain precise patient records. Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to support quality care and positive patient experiences.
