Part-time Team Member with Energy and Empathy - Caring Transitions of Hoschton and Hartwell GA We’re seeking compassionate part‑time team members to join our team in Braselton, Hoschton, Commerce, and surrounding NE Georgia areas. Excellent for college students, workers with a job but wanting to add extra income, or retirees still looking to be active and supplement your income. Job Description As a part‑time team member, you will deliver excellent customer service while safely and efficiently helping clients downsize, relocate, and/or liquidate through sorting and organizing, packing, setting up online estate sales, donating, or disposing items for a complete cleanout. Every day is different. You truly make a difference in the lives of our clients every single day. We offer flexibility and part‑time work with no required or guaranteed hours. Perfect for parents with school‑aged kids, college students, retirees, and anyone with a flexible schedule who wants to make a difference for others. Roles and Responsibilities Work on a team to downsize and relocate clients and liquidate unneeded items. Organize, pack, unpack, and resettle clients in their homes and in senior living communities. Sort items for sale, recycling, donation, or disposal and clean‑out. Use hand‑held devices to create, photograph, and describe items. Sort, organize, give descriptions and handle items for resale. Assist buyers during on‑site pickup and sales. Hang items at or above 4 feet, pack/unpack and label boxes, carry supplies, items, and moving boxes to/from vehicles, within a home or outbuilding. NOTE: We are not movers. We contract with professional movers for furniture and items over 25 pounds. Follow best practices, health, and safety requirements and company guidelines. Qualifications & Skills Compassion and respect for clients and their families. Strong verbal communication skills and English fluency. Ability to complete tasks and work in fast‑paced, changing environments. Willingness to work in cluttered and/or dirty environments. We provide work gloves, masks if needed, etc. Excellent prioritization and organizational skills. Must be able to stand for extended periods, climb stairs, and carry up to 25 lb. Dependable punctuality and attention to detail. Consistently reliable transportation and a smartphone for scheduling, time‑keeping, and executing general project duties. 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license, clear driving history, and able to pass a basic background check. What We Offer Starting pay rate of $16.00 per hour with 90‑day review. Company‑supplied uniform shirts. Bi‑weekly pay (direct deposit). Opportunity for advancement – we promote from within! Hours / Scheduling The Team Member position is part‑time on an as‑needed basis with no guaranteed hours. Flexible schedules with part‑to‑full time hours will be available. This is a perfect fit for individuals who would like to make extra income but don’t require a consistent work schedule. Our business provides services Monday – Friday during typical daytime business hours and weekends as needed. We do require that all team members have wide-ranging availability within that time frame. Scheduling is based on client needs, team member availability, and the skill set needed for the project(s).
