Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Madison, Wisconsin. The role involves operating diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition, and caring for patients undergoing radiologic testing. Details Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts, nights) Employment Type: Travel Tasks Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures. Follow physicians’ orders for imaging specific body areas. Correctly position patients and adjust equipment. Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure with appropriate protective precautions. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for physician review. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a Rad Tech. Current BLS certification. ARRT (R) national certification. State‑specific licensing when required. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
